Desert Palms Institute is a mentoring facility sponsoring continuing education classes on a regular basis in Tucson, AZ.
Internationally renowned instructors provide on-site training classes. Additionally, several of our Therapists are Board Certified clinical specialists or have acquired advanced certification in sub-specialties.

Desert Palms Physical Therapy will be sponsoring a residency in Tucson starting in 2012. All NAIOMT courses at our location will be applicable to this residency process. This residency is in association with Andrews University. You can be a part of Residency from any work location. HISTORY Bruce A. Franke Jr. started Desert Palms Institute on a national level in 1996 with a vision to provide the highest quality and exceptionally well delivered continued education to Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Assistants through a series of weekend courses.

2012 Saturday Free Study Groups at DPPT (NW Tucson):
· Content: Time will be spent on orthopedic theory, clinical reasoning, and examination and treatment skills. Material may be new for some and a review for others. Material to include review of theory and techniques from NAIOMT and Desert Palms Institute course work.
· Target Group: Open to PT’s, PTA’s, and OT and COTA’s are also welcome to attend
· Participation: Consistent attendance is not mandatory and anyone can join in at any time. All experience levels welcome
· Schedule: Planned times Saturdays 8:30 am-10:30 am monthly

DPI CANCELLATION POLICY
IF THE PARTICIPANT CANCELS: If written notification of cancellation is received 2 weeks prior to the course start date, the participant may substitute someone in their place, or transfer to another course at the same location without penalty. No monies will be refunded for cancellation. No money or credit will be issued for “no shows” to the course, or for cancellation after the course is in progress. IF THE INSTITUTE CANCELS PRIOR TO THE COURSE START DATE NAIOMT reserves the right to cancel the course. If cancelled, a full refund is given. Host will not be held responsible for any personal costs incurred
